About this Blog

I've been blogging online since 2002, starting with a personal blog on LiveJournal. I started this blog to focus on books and writing, with a kitschy idea to wax poetic about my old diaries (thus the name of the blog). Written journals are a big part of my writing background. However, I've since determined to spare you all from my mundane and frequently embarrassing diary entries. If anything is worth mentioning, I'll let you know.

Meanwhile, on the blog I:

• Post book reviews. All books I've purchased myself, borrowed from the library, or have received from a paid conference. Mainly, I want to share the love about books I enjoy. I cross post my reviews to Goodreads.com.
• Recap author events or writing related workshops, etc. that I attend.
• Write about TV shows old and new and other fun, stress-relieving entertainment.
• Gather links of interest from the many great blogs I read from the publishing industry and book blogs.
